For people who live far from the beach, altitude diving is a good option to keep and refine our techniques. Altitude diving is any dive performed at altitudes above 300 meters (1000 feet) above sea level.
Four hours away on the Bogotá-Sogamoso route we arrive at Lake Tota, this is a body of water that is at 3000 meters above sea level, an ideal place to spend a weekend of rest and at the same time obtain the PADI altitude diving specialty.
At Aquasub we have the necessary equipment to be able to dive in the lake. We stay at the Rocas Lindas refuge hotel, a very quiet place with good food, where rainbow trout are the main attraction.
