Have you ever wondered what it feels like to breathe underwater? If you want to try scuba diving, but aren't prepared enough to make the jump to a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is for you. PADI dive shops offer this program in a pool, on the beach or from a dive boat. You can try scuba diving close to home or while on vacation at a diving destination. Although not a diving certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is a quick and easy introduction to what it's like to explore the underwater world.

To sign up for a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience, you must be at least 10 years old. No previous diving experience is necessary, but you do need to be in reasonable physical health.

Download and fill out the Discover Scuba Diving registration form and bring it to be delivered to your instructor at the training session.

You learn basic safety guidelines and the skills necessary to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional. If you do an open water dive, you'll practice some more shallow water skills to prepare for your adventure. Be prepared to:

• Review diving procedures and the diving equipment you will use to dive and how easy it is to move underwater with your equipment.

• Experience what it feels like to breathe underwater.

• Learn skills to make a safe dive.

• Perform a dive in open water to a maximum depth of 12 meters (40 feet).  Optional, it can be done at our Bahia Solano station.

• Have fun swimming and exploring the underwater environment.

• Hear how to become a certified diver with the PADI Open Water Diver course.

• See the options we have to travel and see new and exciting places​​

• If you are interested in the Discover Scuba Diving program, make the secure purchase through Pay U, then fill out the registration form, one of our instructors will contact you to organize your PADI Discover Scuba Diving class.​

NOTE: When purchasing the course promotion, students who have taken the Discover Scuba Diving will receive a 20% discount that will be applied to the Scuba Diver course to obtain their PADI diving certification.​

NOTE: You must wait at least 12 hours of interval on the surface before taking a flight or climbing to more than 300 meters above sea level.
