Previously, taking a PADI scuba diving instructor course was a bit more complex; you had to wait to assemble a group and set a start date. Now, at AQUASUB, you decide when you want to begin the PADI GoPro program. For this course, you don't need to be a diver with many years of experience. With the PADI GoPro program, you can even start at the Open Water Diver level and progress through this exciting and enduring career in recreational diving with AQUASUB.

 

We offer several programs, and you can choose one of them:

 

Aqua Lite Instructor. If you are already a PADI Divemaster or certified by any other organization, and you are certified as an EFR (Emergency First Aid) Instructor, you can take your instructor course. This is divided into two parts: Assistant Instructor and Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI), all combined into a program known as the IDC (Instructor Development Course).

 

Aqua Pro Instructor. If you are a PADI or other certified Divemaster, but you don't have your First Aid Instructor course, you can begin your IDC and then complete the EFR Instructor course.

Aqua Plus Instructor. At this level, once you have achieved your Open Water Scuba Instructor certification, AQUASUB will reward you by guiding you to become a specialty instructor. This will allow you to become a certified Master Scuba Diver Trainer. You will have 5 specialties that will expand your course offerings for new students. Furthermore, once you have certified 25 students, you will be able to advance to the Master Scuba Diver Trainer level.

PADI Freediver Instructor. There's nothing like feeling completely free while diving, especially with just a pair of fins, a mask, and a snorkel. If you are a freediver and want to become a Freediver Instructor, at AQUASUB we have a program that will guide you until you become a certified Freediver Instructor. Take the next step and advance your career.

 

The PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer level distinguishes you as a dive instructor who is serious about continuing education and committed to teaching a wide variety of courses. (Potential employers appreciate this.) Being an MSDT means you have the experience and certifications to provide all the training a diver needs to become a Master Scuba Diver – the highest level of recreational diving at a professional level.

Any PADI Instructor who has certified at least 25 PADI divers and earned at least five PADI Specialty Instructor certifications is eligible to become a Master Scuba Diver Trainer. This level is the next step in your professional growth and is a prerequisite for IDC Staff Instructor certification, as well as many TecRec Instructor levels.

 

At Aquasub, we don't just settle for making you a diving instructor; we take you further. That's why we've designed these programs to suit your needs. You might want to start with Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, or Divemaster. We'll organize your own Go Aquasub course so you can become a Master Scuba Diver Trainer. Having this level will be highly valued at any dive center you go to, as you'll be prepared to teach any diving course within PADI's continuing education program. Likewise, if you're going to open your own dive center, you'll have all the tools you need to compete in the local and international market.
